Judy Clark Dale
JUDY CLARK DALE combines excellence in design with strong technical and project management skills. A registered landscape architect, she has over 30 years of wide-ranging project experience, with particular emphasis on site planning and design for public and institutional landscapes. She offers expertise in design for parks and trails, university campuses, and historic sites. An imaginative and insightful designer, Judy has developed highly successful design solutions for many projects with difficult site or program issues. As project manager she is adept at taking complex public projects through all phases of development. She has extensive experience in leading and participating in multidisciplinary design teams, coordinating design and documentation with public clients and reviewing agencies, and engaging the community in the design process.
Judy brings to each project a commitment to sustainable design and community enhancement. She has excellent understanding and practical knowledge of green design, and seeks to create places of enduring ecological and community value, where people can connect with nature and with each other. With her background in botany and environmental planning, Judy has special expertise in plant ecology, California native plant communities, and creek and wetland systems. She is experienced in sustainable stormwater management, energy-efficient and water-efficient design, habitat restoration and enhancement, design over structure, and design and documentation for LEED and Bay-Friendly certification. She is LEED-accredited and Bay-Friendly qualified.
