BC Engineering Group Welcomes Steve Kovanis as Landscape Architect Project Manager

We are excited to announce a new member of the BC Engineering Group team! With over 20 years of experience, Steve Kovanis is now BC Engineering Group’s Landscape Architect Project Manager.

​Steve graduated from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo and is a California licensed landscape architect. Steve began his career in the landscape construction industry, which provided a solid foundation to his work as a design consultant. He has diverse project experience, including the design and management of commercial, residential, hospitality, school, athletic, community based, and public works projects. 


Steve is a Bay Friendly Qualified Professional (BFQP) with qualifications in both landscape design and maintenance. He has led nursery talk seminars for the general public at locations throughout the Bay Area, and sustainable landscape training workshops for public agency employees. Steve remains committed to strengthening our community through his membership in Sonoma County Alliance, as a graduate of the Leadership Santa Rosa program, and by providing pro bono consultation to worthy causes. 

Steve’s relationship with the community and experience makes him a valuable asset to BC Engineering Group’s team!
